State-of-the-Art Software Solutions

MEDC offers a range of solutions to the general inverse problem. Our two current software kernels - MemSys5 and MitSys - have been used with a wide range of interfaces for applications as diverse as:

Both MemSys and MitSys are based on the theory of Bayesian Inference, which provides a formal mechanism for incorporating prior knowledge about the system into the estimate, and constrains the set of possible solutions.
